FERPA Information

  • In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Campus Accommodations restricts all third-party access to students’ personal information to those that have been granted FERPA access, either through a FERPA Release Form or, in the case of family, through the students’ personal FERPA preferences.
  • A tenant may grant FERPA access to family members by updating their FERPA preferences.
  • Family members who have been granted FERPA access must provide the tenant’s FERPA identifier prior to accessing that tenant’s personal information.
    • The FERPA identifier can be found in the tenant’s "Account" tab on the housing website or by clicking on the link to FERPA Preferences above.
