Maintenance And Repair
We strive to keep your room and hall in top condition. You can help by reporting needed repairs and/or damages to BYU Auxiliary Maintenance. Call 801-422-4411 to request a work order between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For service after hours contact the hall staff. Repairs must be done by BYU maintenance personnel only. The University reserves the right to enter rooms for needed repairs or remodeling.
Pianos
Pianos are located in the basement or lobbies of each hall or in the commons rooms at the Foreign Language Student Residence. Your hall community may establish quiet hours for the piano to avoid disturbing students who are trying to sleep. Please don't move the pianos as this can affect their tone.
Storage
No storage space outside the apartment is provided in Wyview Park. In all of the other housing areas, you can store your trunks or suitcases in the basement of your hall, or in the storage rooms of your area. Make sure you mark them with your name, school address & home address, and date. Please be aware that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage. You may not store flammable materials, chemicals, bicycles, tires, or excess boxes. If you need to store specialized boxes (such as computer boxes), please nest or collapse the boxes to reduce fire hazards and leave space for other residents.
Recreation Facilities
Basketball and volleyball facilities are available in each of the On-Campus Housing areas. Sports equipment can be checked out from the complex office front desk or your hall office.
