Singles' Housing
Most renters pay for gas, electricity, and basic telephone services in addition to rent. A few pay for water, sewer, and garbage services as well. The average utility bill for those who share a dwelling unit and utility costs with other singles is listed below. Your actual cost may vary depending on the insulation and appliances in the unit, weather, time of year, and personal usage practices.
