The university has contracted with more than 1,400 landlords and 5,300 living units for single undergraduate students to live in off campus. The owners of contracted rental units agree to: (1) adequately separate single men and women, (2) exercise reasonable efforts to maintain BYU Residential Living Standards, (3) maintain the facilities in good repair, and (4) not abuse basic tenant rights. All BYU Contracted Housing facilities are furnished. Inclusion in this listing is voluntary and does not constitute any endorsement by Brigham Young University.

 

Map of Selected Large Complexes - This map shows selected large complexes within BYU Contracted Housing. A large complex is defined as a facility that has more than 6 units and is centrally managed. 

 

Map of Condominiums - This map shows Condominium Complexes that are BYU Contracted.  Unit owners individually contract with BYU Off-Campus Housing.  Condo units are individually owned and individually managed. A student's experience with owners and managers will vary from one unit to another within a facility.  The listed contact, where applicable, is typically the management company that represents the Home Owners Association (HOA).  An HOA may contact Off-Campus Housing to designate one representative for the purpose of this map.

 

Small Complexes are defined as a facility that has fewer than 6 units and is centrally owned and managed, including houses and duplexes.  There are over 300 small complexes that are BYU contracted, however not all homes within the BYU Off-Campus Housing Boundaries or within BYU student wards are Contracted with BYU.  Students are responsible to verify a small complex is currently BYU Contracted before signing a contract. Search the address under Search for Housing on the Off-Campus Housing website.
