Housing Requirements
All single BYU undergraduates are required to live in On- or Off-Campus Housing that is approved by the University. Exceptions to this rule must be specifically approved by the Off-Campus Housing office. |
Chartered Housing
Chartered Housing is a pilot program that will run for two years. The university is currently working with Centennial Apartments that will provide quality housing for single BYU students beginning Fall Semester 2006 and Alpine Village beginning Fall Semester 2007. The university will work closely with the property manager, including assisting the property manager with staff training. Because this is a pilot program, the university will be studying the students' experiences in this style of housing. In order to make comparisons between Chartered Housing and other styles of housing, the residents will be all BYU students. For more information about the Chartered Housing pilot program contact the BYU Campus Accommodations Office at housing@byu.edu. If you have questions about living at Centennial Apartments or Alpine Village, you may contact them at manager@centennialapartments.com for Centennial Apartments or alpinemanager@gmail.com for Alpine Village. |
